THANK YOU NUMBER ONE: THE AUDIENCE.

You guys, you were beautiful.

Here’s the thing about an ask panel: the audience can make or break the performance just as much as the panelists.  If you get disrespectful questions, or have someone trying to draw attention to themselves, or questions that aren’t very good, or anything else, it can actually ruin a panel.  I have seen a video of two girls from the audience getting into a fight at another ask panel and I couldn’t even.  I was having panic attacks about the possibility.

But you guys were an incredible audience.  You kept the questions coming and asked good ones that made everybody laugh and enjoy themselves.  You were polite and waited your turn and were friendly and spoke up and I just appreciate all of you so very very much.

Also huge thanks to the audience for playing along with the device that turned 100d words into confectioneries.  I was SO TICKLED.

All of you were fabulous on all counts.  Everyone fielded their questions beautifully, we had tons of fun, you all had these wonderful background interactions going on the whole time, it was just incredible and I can’t even.

Katsucon’s staff was lovely and helpful.  I’m really sorry to everyone who didn’t get into the panel - we just barely managed to get the whole line at the door in - but it was great and I’m thankful to them for their help.
